ADO on MDAC 2.8

I am running an application that runs fine on MDAC 2.6 but when I run it on
MDAC 2.8 have the error:
Error on the DLL
How can I rollback MDAC 2.8 and what will be the consequences on the Windows
XP system?
Application uses ADO.Open method and crashed here. Isn't MDAC 2.8 backward c
ompatible for ADO objects?
Thank youHi,
You might want to have a look at the following article:
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;EN-US;232060
At the bottom it describes how to uninstall MDAC 2.6. Maybe this works for
MDAC 2.8 too.

Thank you for your hint. However, I tried what it is in this article and onl
y works for MDAC 2.6 but not for MDAC 2.8

There is a special place in DLL hell for users of MDAC.
