Can I administrate a remote SQL Server 2005 from my machine after
installing Native Client tools only? Is there any "Enterprise-Manager"
like environment after installing client tools utility?
I'm also running SQL Server 2000 on my machine. Any problems here or
incompatibilities with 2000 and 2005 client tools?
Thanks in advance.
Hi
You use "SQL Server Management Studio" to manage SQL Server 2005
Native tools does not give you this, you need to install the full client
tools.
Currently SQL Server 2005 is still in beta so don't take it near production
and use at own risk.

|||Thanks, I've finally managed to administer my SQL Server 2005.
Initially I only installed Native Client Tools, but realised that I
needed all Client Tools, specially SQL Server Management Studio.
Thanks for your help.
